Hi everyone
I did send this out via e-mail but just in case anyone didn't get it:
I have another potential excursion for us all to Chiltern Open Air Museum, where on the 4th/5th August they are holding a Roman weekend. I attended this event last year and it was pretty good, very good replica uniforms and weaponry and various displays and battle re-enactments. As well as this if you have not attended Chiltern Open Air Museum before there is an array of buildings mainly from the local area that have been rescued from demolition and rebuilt at the site in order to preserve them. If you would like to know more about the museum itself visit
www.coam.org.uk. Entry prices are £8.80 for Adults which include a gift aid donation and the opening times are 10 til 5 pm
As I have stated above I would prefer the 5th but am happy to go along with the majority, let me know if you are interested and we can nail down details once we have an idea of numbers.
